One more year is gone...

One more year is gone...

One more year is gone...

With bitterness and sweetness, With sadness and joy, With affection and love, With its turmoil and noise, With social events and natural disasters, We have completed 2020 with brotherhood, sincerity, sharing and cooperation.

The most obvious social impact of 2020 was undoubtedly the coronavirus disease, which affected the entire world.  Habits change, life slows down; We all lived together in the days when a little more convex relationships intensified. We have once again witnessed the weakness and weakness of human beings.

The past days have left different traces in every person. In addition to unforgettable memories and the happiness we had with our loved ones, the sadness that we do not want to remember and the times we witnessed are left behind with the year 2020.  It is not possible to live those moments again, to return to those days; But taking lessons from the events, remembering our responsibilities, and doing what is necessary must be the most important contribution that the past will give us.

In this process, people were tested with hardships, thousands of children were orphaned, families were driven from their homeland, where they lived, they had to flee.

Yardımeli has endeavored to be with families, to make children happy, to give hope to mothers, and to give morale to fathers in these difficult and difficult times. We rejoiced together in moments of pride and joy for our nation. In the face of disasters and sad events, we worked together to heal the wounds as soon as possible.During the Elazig and Izmir earthquakes, when the Giresun flood disaster occurred, Yardımeli teams reached the region, emergency aid was distributed, and what could be done afterward.

Thanks to our representatives and volunteers in 81 provinces due to the pandemic, food packages, shopping gift cards, and cash aid were delivered personally to families whose jobs were disrupted and who left their jobs as part of emergency aid. Other needs of the families who were visited in their living environment were determined, provided to the extent possible and delivered to the families. Household goods, clothes, toys and stationery for children, cash assistance for payment of bills were continued without interruption.

In the holy month of Ramadan, we were guests at the iftar and sahur tables of the families with our gifts, and the joy and happiness of the holiday were experienced together.

Families visited in Turkey and abroad on the occasion of the Feast of the Qurban were given as gifts, celebrations were celebrated, prayers mixed with tears, and the best examples of sharing and solidarity were given. The joy of the feast has doubled with the eid clothes presented to the orphans before the eid. With the arrival of winter and the cooling of the weather, winter clothes, fuel, and stove aids continue to reach families in need all over Anatolia. During the periods when going out was restricted due to the pandemic and most of the time was spent at homes, our warm gifts given to homes with chimneys helped to warm the hearts.

Another year is gone.. In other words, another year is gone from our lifetime. We do not know how many more days we will live ahead. Do you realize that many of our friends and loved ones around us are not among us right now. What are we waiting for to appreciate the moment we live, breathe and be grateful for?.

Remember, today is the first day of the rest of our lives. Let's decide and act..

Come on, Bismillah.
